Leaves emerge in spring with an intense yellow hue that can verge on chartreuse, especially when grown in full sun, persisting through the growing season, though leaves may develop greenish tones in partial shade. In autumn, the foliage often shifts to warm shades of orange and red. The height and spread is about 0.6–1 meter, forming a dense, rounded habit that works well in borders, hedges, and foundation plantings. Still a popular choice for it’s purity of colour.
