Flowering in late winter to early spring, the nodding, cup-shaped flowers are usually a deep plum, burgundy, or wine color, with subtle veining and a contrasting central eye. Held above the foliage on sturdy stems, the blooms are long-lived and slowly fade to attractive antique tones.  ‘Glenda’s Gloss’ is a well-behaved, clump-forming perennial that typically reaches 12 to 18 inches in height and width.
