Cistus purpureus is a rounded upright shrub with wavy-margined, dark green leaves. The dark pink flowers have maroon marks at the base of each petal. It willgrow up to 1 meters in height, with a spread of up to 1m. The leaves are evergreen, grey-green in color, and densely hairy. Cistus purpureus is a drought-tolerant plant that prefers well-drained soils and full sunlight. Cistus purpureus flowers from June to September. Loves full Sun, and is frost hardy.
