Perennials
Perennials are a diverse group of plants which complete a cycle of growth before becoming dormant, usually during winter. Some can be evergreen, and they make up what we have come to know as cottage garden border plants. They can be colourfull, fragrant, and some have impressive architectural value. Generally perennials die back to below ground level each year in autumn, then fresh new growth appears again in spring.
