With its striking golden foliage and graceful demeanor, Milium effusum aureum brings a touch of elegance and warmth to any landscape. It is often considered “the glue” in borders (Alan Tichmarsh) which  often seeds itself about filling up redundant space. It is low growing to about 20 cm. the leaves emerge in early spring as a brilliant golden-yellow, creating a stunning contrast against the backdrop of lush greenery or darker foliage.
