This perennial plant is celebrated for its unique blend of colors and its vigorous growth habit. The blooms, which appear from late spring to early summer, are a striking magenta hue with black centers. The young leaves are a pale lemon yellow, later its trailing stems adorned with deeply cut, bright green leaves. Ann Folkard forms lush mounds that cascade gracefully over edges, or as an excellent filler plant, weaving through other perennials and shrubs to add texture and color.
